The Ridgeway Hospital offers treatments and services for those who live in Swindon, Wiltshire and further afield. The Ridgeway Hospital has 50 beds. All patient rooms offer the privacy and comfort of en-suite facilities, TV and telephone, Equipped to a high standard, the rooms provide a relaxed and comfortable environment, conducive to rapid recovery and convalescence. The Ridgeway Hospital is home to an Imaging Suite that offers a full and extensive range of services, including an Open MRI and CT scanning facility. The physiotherapy department incorporates fitness, health screening and wellbeing, along with a large, well equipped gymnasium and hydrotherapy pool. The hospital has three theatres, one of which is home to a Stryker Nav Suite which is a completely integrated computer assisted surgery solution with a ceiling-mounted camera that tracks instrumentation. In 2021 we refurbished our Endoscopy Suite to offer our patients a dedicated endoscopy facility in a calm and welcoming atmosphere, with patient privacy at the forefront of its design. The Ambulatory Day Care Suite which we opened in January 2022, has been developed in line with modern healthcare needs, whereby techniques have improved so much that people who might overwise have needed an overnight stay after their surgery can now be offered aftercare treatment in a comfortable environment, before returning home the same day. Our facilities at the hospital enable our consultants to undertake a wide range of procedures from routine investigations to complex surgery. This specialist expertise is supported by caring and professional medical staff, with dedicated nursing teams, and a Resident Medical Officer on duty 24 hours a day, providing care within a friendly and comfortable environment.
