World-renowned maternity hospital Queen Charlotte’s & Chelsea offers an excellent level of care for women and their babies through specialist obstetricians, paediatricians and midwives – an expert team working together within a single unit. It has a nationally celebrated centre for fetal care and the largest neonatal intensive care unit in the country which has a long history of clinical excellence. The hospital is well equipped to deal with all pregnancies, from straightforward deliveries through to multiple and complex births, with two fully equipped operating theatres adjacent to the labour ward and high-dependency care facilities should babies need any additional support. Being conveniently located next door to Hammersmith Hospital, patients at Queen Charlotte’s & Chelsea Hospital have the reassurance of a wealth of back-up medical support services in all medical specialism’s on site, 24 hours a day. The Sir Stanley Clayton ward is the private post-natal ward which includes en suite facilities for patients. You and your baby will stay in modern, private en suite bedrooms, designed to ensure your comfort and make you feel right at home. Partners are encourages to stay and, subject to availability, you will also be able to request one of the wards double bedrooms.
