GMC reg: 3515969Consultant gastroenterologist and hepatologist with special interests in disease of the liver, pancreas and biliary tree, small bowel disease, ERCP, colonoscopy and endoscopic ultrasound. He has been a consultant at University College Hospital since 2000 and at the Royal Free since 2008, and was appointed Professor of Hepatology & Gastroenterology at UCL in 2015. The research interests of his group centre on the pathogenesis, early diagnosis and novel treatments for biliary tract and pancreatic cancer, as well as benign pancreaticobiliary diseases. He currently leads a number of multicentre clinical endoscopy trials and national and international translational research studies at UCLH/RFH.
