GMC reg: 2916404I qualified from the University of Southampton in 1984. I have worked in a variety of hospitals in England and in New Zealand. Following training in general internal medicine I specialised in rheumatology. I was a consultant in general medicine and rheumatology from 1996 to 2017 at Epsom & St Helier Hospitals. I then moved to King's College Hospital in London where I do 5 rheumatology clinics per week and on-call for acute rheumatology. I have particular expertise in metabolic bone diseases such as osteoporosis, inflammatory arthritis (such as rheumatoid arthritis and gout), vasculitis and connective diseases. I see patients with a wide range of rheumatological conditions including inflammatory arthritis such as rheumatoid arthritis, polymyalgia rheumatica and gout, bone problems such as osteoporosis for which I am an acknowledged national expert, as well as other common conditions such as trigger finger, shoulder and back pain and fibromyalgia. I regularly receive very positive patient feedback in my 360 degree patient feedback surveys. I have not had any complications following outpatient procedures such as joint injections
