GMC reg: 4030421I live in Brighton with my family and where I have had my practice since 2004. From 2020-2 I have also looked after people with breast cancer from the Eastbourne Breast Unit. I also work three days per week as Chief Medical Office for the charity Macmillan Cancer Support where I co-lead the Centre of Clinical Expertise I am a member of the British Radiological society, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, The European Society of Therapeutic Radiation Oncology and the European Society of Medical Oncology and SIOG, the International Society for Geriatric Oncology I have previously sat on the NHS Breast Screening Program Board and the Steering Committee of the National Audit of Breast Cancer Outcomes for Older People. From 2020 I have been the Conference track lead for Living with and Beyond Cancer and the National Cancer Research Network. I am currently on the Editorial Board of the BMJ Oncology. Academic publications can be found here: https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Richard-Simcock-2 I tweet about breast cancer, radiation oncology and some random thoughts as @BreastDocUK and with colleagues in North America and previously helped to co-ordinate a monthly Twitter Journal Club which usually reaches 1.5-2.5 million impressions per month.
