Miss Ms Michelle Mullan

Michelle is a fully trained and experienced breast cancer surgeon who graduated from the University of Bristol. She undertook training in the West Midlands, /Bristol, Guildford and spent a year in Michigan USA. She also holds a first class Honours Degree in Psychology. Her first consultant post commenced in Worcestershire in 2008 where she was both Breast Cancer Lead for Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust and Lead Clinical Cancer Surgeon for all cancer types within the county. She moved to Bristol in 2019 and now works at North Bristol NHS Trust as Breast Lead for the Bristol Breast Care Centre and Spire Bristol. Michelle was a Trustee for the Association of Breast Surgeons, sitting on the Guidelines and Practices Sub-committee between 2018 to 2023. She has a strong teaching and training background, having been a faculty member for the University of East Anglia MS degree in Oncoplastic Breast Surgery. Over the last 17 years she has trained many other current Oncoplastic Breast Surgeons. She is an examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons FRCS exam, both in the UK and abroad.
