He grew up in the South East of England but spent nine years in international schools in Europe, two years in the US and a recent fellowship year in Sydney. He enjoys playing all racquet sports and is the previous winner of county championships in badminton and captained university teams for both tennis and badminton. He is currently Captain on the Men's A team in the Tunbridge Wells Premier League. Whilst in Sydney he was part of the winning crew in a 48ft yacht in the Sydney Hospitals Boat Race.

Special clinical interests
Mr Pearce is Fellowship-trained in both Hip and Knee Surgery. After passing his FRCS he attended an additional year in Sydney working with internationally renowned surgeons. He then returned to the UK for another highly reputable fellowship in Guy's Hospital, London.
