Graduated from London University (St Bartholomew’s Hospital Medical College) and completed general surgical and general ENT training in London, Essex and Herts followed by higher sub-specialty training at Charing Cross Hospital, The Royal National Throat, Nose and Ear Hospital and Great Ormond Street Hospital.
Further subspecialty training abroad in Rhinology and Facial Plastic Surgery (Denmark, Switzerland, USA) and Otology (The House Ear Institute,Los Angeles).
In 2005 appointed as Consultant ENT Surgeon at Whipps Cross University Hospital, becoming the Paediatric ENT Lead Clinician in 2008 and the overall Clinical Lead in ENT in 2010. In 2012 appointed as the Clinical Director of ENT at Barts Health (one of the largest ENT departments in the country). In 2015 elected as Chairman of the Medical Advisory Committee at The Holly Private Hospital. He is a holder of 5 NHS Clinical Excellence Awards.
He has become the ENT surgeon that local GP’s trust to ask for advice and to take their own children to see.
Lives locally to where he works, has 3 very sporty teenage children and as a result of his keenness for skiing, has himself been a patient on a number of occasions and is able to empathise with being on the patient side of the room!

Facial Plastic Surgery - Rhinoplasty, Septorhinoplasty, skin lesions
General Otology – ear infections, hearing loss, ear drum perforations and balance disorders.
