Mr Pierre Nasr is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, with a specialist interest in lower limb surgery, particularly affecting the Hip and Knee. Mr Pierre Nasr, a Buckinghamshire native, attended the prestigious Royal Grammar School in High Wycombe, where he began his academic journey. With solid training in the UK, he earned his medical qualification from Imperial College School of Medicine at St. Mary's Hospital, London in 2002. Mr Pierre Nasr, then went on to pursue his Orthopaedic training at the Oxford University Hospital Teaching Hospital and had specialist training in Orthopaedics at Cambridge University Teaching Hospital, which culminated in the prestigious and distinguished appointment of Chief Resident in charge of Trauma and Orthopaedics in 2012. n 2013, Mr Pierre Nasr underwent further specialised training at the world-renowned Centre of Excellence in Australia, which he completed in 2015. During this time, he honed his skills in both routine and complex hip and knee surgeries, as well as the reconstruction of complex limb fractures and severe pelvis and hip socket fractures. He was under the mentorship of world renowned Professors of Trauma and Orthopaedic surgery at the award-winning Alfred Hospital in Melbourne. Following this, he moved to Perth, Western Australia, where he worked with the Western Australia Sarcoma Service at Sir Charles Gardiner Hospital. His training focused on complex hip and knee joint replacement related to bone tumours and computer-navigated hip and knee surgeries under the mentorship of two internationally recognised Professors in Orthopaedic Oncology. Mr Pierre Nasr returned to the UK in 2015 and was appointed Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Northampton General Hospital, where he currently serves as the head of the trauma service. He is involved in all aspects of hip and knee replacement surgery, including partial and total knee replacements, keyhole knee surgery, total hip replacements and 'The Andy Murray' hip resurfacing. In (2016), Mr Pierre Nasr expanded his practice by joining the team at Three Shires Hospital in Northampton, where he provides care to patients across various pathways, including self-pay, insured, and NHS. He sees patients from a wide region, with his typical patients coming from Oxfordshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Warwickshire, Buckinghamshire, and London. With excellent outcomes, Mr Pierre Nasr, optimises an enhanced recovery pathway for all Hip and Knee Replacement patients, ensuring a seamless recovery pathway with minimal pain and discomfort. Mr Pierre Nasr has consistently achieved, and continues to achieve, excellent results and effective outcomes, as documented through the National Joint Registry, reflecting his commitment to providing exceptional patient care. Beyond the operating room, Mr Pierre Nasr enjoys working as a Medical Officer for Formula 1 and as Chief Medical Officer at Silverstone motor racing circuit.
