GMC reg: 2703460Mr Philip Robinson is a Consultant Adult and Paediatric Ear, Nose & Throat Surgeon at the Spire Bristol Hospital and also an Emeritus Consultant at the University Hospitals Bristol NHS trust working at St Michael’s Hospital, Bristol Royal Infirmary, the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children and Southmead Hospital.He was President of the British Society of Otology for the period 2018 - 2020 and was President of the section of Otology at the Royal Society of Medicine for 2020-2021. He was appointed as a Consultant in 1994 and works with both adults and children. He has developed a specialist practice in complex ear disease and deafness, receiving many tertiary referrals from other Consultants. He has also developed a specialist practice in nose and sinus surgery and all aspects of paediatric ENT with a particular interest in children’s hearing loss. He continues to carry out general ear, nose and throat clinics and surgery as well. He is the Director and Founder of the West of England Hearing Implant Programme and also established multidisciplinary clinics for Tinnitus, Balance disorders, ENT/ Immunology and Allergy, and paediatric Rhinitis in Bristol.
