Mr Kumar – Helping Patients with Specialist Expertise and Kindness Mr Gaurav Kumar is a revered and internationally respected Ear, Nose and Throat surgeon. With a full remit of expertise for both complex and restorative adult and pediatric, ENT conditions. He is Clinical Lead for Ear Nose Throat Services and Paediatric Surgery for Surgical Division at Barking Havering Redbridge NHS Trust. After specialized training in the UK, he was awarded a Fellowship (FRCS) from the Royal College of Surgeons and has also completed a postgraduate training course in India for his master’s degree. His significant experience also includes performing more than 500 cases of cholesteatoma, endoscopic ear surgery which minimizes discomfort and facilitates a faster recovery. He has performed more than 1000 ear surgery procedures including eardrum perforation repair no facial palsy complication in his hands. Other specific procedures include stapes surgery for patients with otosclerosis. He has pioneered the use of Narrow Band Imaging in cholesteatoma surgery.His vast ENT experience of last 21 years with treating children with tonsillitis, glue ear, sleep apnoea and nasal obstruction.
