Mr Dan Lindfield

Mr Dan Lindfield is a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon, Glaucoma lead at Royal Surrey County Hospital and Director of the Ophthalmology training programme across Kent, Surrey and Sussex.  He subspecialises in cataract/lens surgery and all aspects of glaucoma care.  Mr Lindfield has been named as one of the Top 100 Ophthalmologists worldwide in the 2018 Power List. He has published 33 journal articles including work across all sub speciality areas of Ophthalmology including glaucoma, innovative glaucoma surgical techniques, cataract surgery and aftercare, medical retina, uveitis, oculoplastics, paediatrics and cornea. He has won 14 prizes (national and international).  Mr Lindfield is guest editor for Journal of Glaucoma and reviews scientific papers for seven journals (Eye, Journal of Glaucoma, Journal of Cataract & Refractive Surgeons, Journal of Ophthalmology, British Journal of Ophthalmology, European Journal of Ophthalmology, Innovait (General Practice Journal). He has extensive and comprehensive Ophthalmology training completely within the UK including subspecialty training in glaucoma and advanced glaucoma surgical techniques. Mr Lindfield continues to give invited national and international lectures across many clinical areas, most specifically glaucoma and medical education.
