Mr Ashwin Narasimha Sridhar

Mr Ashwin Sridhar  is a distinguished and highly experienced  consultant urologist  and  robotic prostate and bladder cancer surgeon  who specialises in  robotic surgery ,  minimally invasive surgery ,  bladder cancer ,  bladder biopsy ,  prostate biopsy ,  bladder removal ,  prostate cancer , and  prostate removal . He is currently practising at  The London Clinic ,  University College London Hospital,  and  The Harley Street Clinic.   Education He obtained his first medical qualification (MBBS) in 2008 from the Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute in India, before moving over to the UK in order to complete an MSc in surgical technology at the Imperial College London.  Following on from this, he undertook six years of intensive urology training at University College London Hospital, where he gained a valuable and significant amount of experience in various urological subspecialties, focusing on the  management of urological cancer .  Research interests Mr Sridhar's main research interests include  oncological  and  functional outcomes  in  urological pelvic cancer surgery  and image-guided surgery in urology. Mr Sridhar is currently a trainer for robotic surgery, and has a keen interest in providing quality assurance of surgical treatment by improving surgical techniques and thereby enhancing patient experience. He has presented in multiple national and international conferences, and his work has been published in various prestigious peer-reviewed journals.

I offer Robotic surgery for prostate and bladder conditions such as Nerve sparing Robotic prostatectomy, Retzius sparing Robotic Radical Prostatectomy, Neurosafe procedure, Organ preserving Robotic radical cystectomy with urinary diversion including formation of a new bladder. I also offer novel treatment options for benign enlargement of the prostate such as Aquablation.
