Mr Andrew Pieri

Mr Pieri is a consultant oncoplastic breast surgeon working within the NHS at the Royal Victoria Infirmary, Newcastle upon Tyne and at several private hospitals in the Northeast of England, performing cancer surgery and cosmetic breast surgery. He performs a comprehensive range of oncoplastic procedures including volume replacement flaps, breast reduction mammoplasty surgery, autologous or implant-based breast reconstructions as well as cosmetic procedures such as breast augmentation, fat grafting, breast uplift surgery and breast reductions in the private sector.  With numerous research publications and a device patent to his name, Mr Pieri has a keen interest in surgical device innovation. He has introduced and formally evaluated multiple novel devices and improvements in breast surgery practice and is considered a key opinion leader, regularly invited by industry to provide his opinion on technology improvements such as breast implants, wound management systems, cancer localisation devices and fat transfer (lipofilling) equipment.
