He is the only surgeon in Wales able to offer a complete service for men concerned about prostate cancer or urinary symptoms caused by benign prostate enlargement, irrespective of prostate size. He thus attracts referrals for difficult cases from a wide geographical area. Mr Cox sees private patients at St Joseph's Hospital, Harding Avenue, Newport, NP20 6ZE. He welcomes self-funding and insured patients and is recognised by all of the main insurers. Referrals are recommended but are not essential. With prior agreement, telephone consultations can be agreed subject to the nature of the complaint, and would require an accompanying written referral – please contact secretary Natalie North to discuss (Tel: 07833 657306, Email: gwenturology@gmail.com). Clinics are held every Wednesday afternoon and operating lists usually on alternate Fridays all day.
