GMC reg: 3685349I graduated from the University of Oxford in 1992 and undertook my postgraduate training in the West Midlands with fellowship training at Wrightington Hospital in upper limb surgery. I was appointed to my first consultant post in 2003 at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire where I worked as a consultant and clinical director with a busy role undertaking elective and trauma upper limb surgery in children and adults until 2017. I then worked as consultant and deputy Medical Director in Weston General Hospital and later University Hospitals Bristol and Weston. I now work as Medical Director and Consultant Hand surgeon at Practice Plus Group hospital in Shepton Mallet in Somerset where I undertake elective hand surgery.

Trauma and orthopaedic surgery - Hands
My specialist interests include soft tissue conditions and degenerative arthritis in the hands. I undertake surgery to treat Carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger fingers and thumb, Dupuytrens contracture, ganglions, arthritis of the thumb and fingers including joint replacements. I perform the majority of surgery under local anaesthesia.
