Professor Kin Sheng Lim

Trained in the UK and USA, Professor Lim is an internationally renowned ophthalmologist, a consultant at St Thomas Hospital since 2006 with a private practice based at the Kersley Eye Clinic on Harley Street specialising in glaucoma care and cataract surgery. He was promoted to the Professor of Glaucoma Studies (Ophthalmology) at King's College London in 2020, in recognition of his contribution towards Ophthalmology research and he is also the director of Ophthalmology Research and the head of KCL Frost Eye Research Department at St Thomas' hospital. He has been involved as a chief or principal investigator for many important trials for treating glaucoma, including cataract surgery, laser and many new glaucoma surgeries. He is one of the world’s leading experts on glaucoma treatment and has delivered over 200 lectures internationally on this subject. He performs nearly 20 types of glaucoma surgeries, and will be able to choose the most appropriate treatment for patients with all types of glaucoma.
