Dr Kevin O'Gallagher

After graduating from the University of Oxford and Imperial College London (BA Hons Medical Sciences, MBBS with Distinction in Clinical Practice and Faculty of Medicine Prize), Dr O’Gallagher undertook interventional cardiology training in London. He was awarded a PhD from King’s College London in 2021.

Dr O’Gallagher’s practice is centred around the diagnosis and treatment of heart artery disease. He is an expert in coronary intervention, including angioplasty and stent procedures. Dr O’Gallagher has a special interest in the prevention of cardiovascular disease, particularly in patients who have already had a cardiac event. He uses state-of-the-art treatments to reduce the risk of future heart attacks and strokes. He also leads the King’s College Hospital coronary microvascular dysfunction service, offering diagnosis and treatment to patients with angina without obstructive coronary disease (ANOCA/INOCA).
