Dr Alexandra Kent

I am a Gastroenterologist at Cleveland Clinic London, and undertake NHS work at King's College Hospital, London. My main sub-specialty interest is in Inflammatory Bowel Disease, including Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis. I am involved in patient care and research within this area. I also see a wide variety of luminal conditions as listed. I am an accredited endoscopist. I am the research Lead within the Gastroenterology and Endoscopy department at King's College Hospital, and am the Principle Investigator for several pharmaceutical trials within the department. I also work with a team to maintain governance for research.  I am the Training Programme Director for Gastroenterology in South Thames, and am also involved in postgraduate training within King's College Hospital and undergraduate training for Guy's, King's and St Thomas' Medical School. 

I am a luminal Gastroenterologist, with a specialist interest in Inflammatory Bowel Disease. I also see patients with other luminal disorders, including and not limited to irritable bowel syndrome, constipation, acid reflux/dyspepsia, gastroparesis, bacterial overgrowth and many gastroenterological symptoms. I am an accredited endoscopist performing gastroscopy and colonoscopy.
