Mr Ken Stewart

Ken trained in plastic surgery in Edinburgh, London, Sydney and Toronto. He completed training in 2002 and became a consultant in Edinburgh that year. He has previously held posts as clinical director, training programme director, associate postgraduate dean and associate director of medical education. He is full certified in all aspects of cosmetic surgery by the Royal College of Surgeons and was the first surgeon in Scotland to achieve that recognition. Ken has published many frequency cited papers in peer reviewed journals. He is frequently invited to lecture at major national and international congresses including BAPRAS, ENT UK, IAPS, ESPRAS, EURAPS and recently Ukraine UPRADAS. He has often been invited to perform live surgical demonstrations at international workshops including India, Oman, Vietna, Switzerland and Ukraine. He is president elect of the International Society for Auricular Reconstruction. He leads the Scottish and the Irish ear reconstruction services. Clinical interests in private practice include otoplasty, rhinoplasty, breast surgery, transgender mastectomy and abdominoplasty.
