I have worked at Milton Keynes Hospital and the Saxon Clinic for 22 years, and have developed the knee service provision at the hospitals to introduce many modern techniques in knee surgery. As the senior knee surgeon, I am the only knee surgeon in the area able to offer all types of knee replacement , including Total Knee , medial, lateral and patello-femoral ( kneecap only) partial replacements, which can be inserted through minimally invasive incisions , allowing smaller scars , quicker recovery , less pain and better functional outcomes, with smaller risks of medical complications. I perform hundreds of ligament surgeries a year , including primary and revision surgery operations, and I am frequently asked to give second opinions and take over difficult cases. I also undertake numerous hip replacements with excellent functional outcomes. The National Joint Registry - NJR, shows that my results are among the best in the country for all types of knee replacement, and hip replacements, with low revision rates and low complication rates - reflecting meticulous attention to detail and care in performing operations.
