James trained in London at The Royal Free Hospital, University College Hospital and The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore. His Orthopaedic training was completed in London's prestigious Southwest Thames training programme where a keen interest in knee surgery was influenced by Mr Andy Williams and Mr Neil Bradley. In 2014 James continued his specialist training with 2 years spent overseas in world-renowned centres of Orthopaedic excellence: The first with Mr Bill Donnelly & Mr Hugh English developing precision in knee replacement surgery for arthritis, including the use of robotically-assisted knee surgery. The second with Mr Peter Myers, Knee surgeon to The Australian Wallabies Rugby Team, Queensland Reds and Brisbane Broncos, where sports knee surgical skills were honed and further developed. James has a passion for knee surgery and a tireless ambition to bring world-class and personally-tailored care to his patients.
