Ms Henrietta Wilson

Miss Wilson qualified from Guy's, King's and St Thomas' medical school in 2006. She went on to train in Cardiothoracic Surgery within specialist units in London and became a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Cardiothoracic surgery in 2015. Miss Wilson has a particular interest in diseases of the mediastinum including thymic malignancy and the surgical treatment of myasthenia gravis, performing robotic assisted surgery in the majority of cases. As such she is also a member of the International Thymic Malignancy Interest Group. She is the lead for Enhanced Recovery in thoracic surgery to improve patient experience and reduce complications following thoracic surgery, implementing day-of-surgery admission for elective patients and day case thoracic surgery. She has experience in minimally invasive thoracic surgery and can offer patients VATS or RATS lobectomy and segmentectomy, with a current RATS resection rate of 95%.
