Mr Haney Youssef

Mr Haney Youssef is a colorectal, peritoneal and general surgeon based at The Harborne Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare UK. Mr Youssef's main interests cover most bowel and abdominal conditions, particularly bowel, appendix and peritoneal cancer. Mr Youssef graduated from the University of Birmingham in 1997. He has been trained in the West Midlands and had specialist fellowship training in Basingstoke, the Washington Cancer Institute and University Hospital Leuven. He is currently a consultant surgeon at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust (Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Heartlands Hospital, Good Hope Hospital and Solihull Hospital) and has been the Clinical Lead for the Colorectal and General Surgical service. He set up and leads the Birmingham Peritoneal Malignancy Unit, one of 3 specialist centres in England. Mr Youssef is a Christian, attending the Coptic Orthodox Church and enjoys swimming, playing tennis, walking and music.
