Dr. Udit Mittal, MBBS, MRCP (UK), FRCP (London), FRCP (Edin), is a distinguished Consultant Gastroenterologist with extensive expertise in advanced gastrointestinal endoscopy. After qualifying as a doctor in 2006, Dr. Mittal completed his internal medicine training in Sheffield, followed by specialist training in gastroenterology and endoscopy in Oxford. He joined the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, as a Consultant Gastroenterologist in September 2022. Dr. Mittal is deeply committed to providing personalized, patient-centered care. His advanced expertise spans a broad spectrum of gastrointestinal conditions and endoscopy, with a particular focus on high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy. His subspecialist interests include early cancer detection, complex polyp resection, familial GI polyposis syndromes, and inflammatory bowel disease.
