GMC reg: 6029789Dr Sunil Iyengar was appointed as Consultant Haematologist at the Royal Marsden Hospital in 2014. He trained in Bangalore Medical College, India and underwent specialist training in Haematology at University College Hospital London before undertaking research in Mantle cell lymphoma at Barts Cancer Institute. Dr Iyengar was awarded the EHA-ASH Translational Research Fellowship in 2011 and the Royal College of Pathologists research medal in Haematology in 2013. His current research interests focus on targeted therapy in lymphoproliferative disorders and the translation of scientific advances into clinical practice. Dr Iyengar has been an investigator on a number of clinical trials with kinase inhibitors and monoclonal antibodies and is also involved in developing the haematological malignancy diagnostic services at the Royal Marsden.
