Trained at University College London MBBS and BSc human genetics further training and research in London including MRC funded 3 years at the Hammersmith in Prof Winstons team working towards diagnosis of genetic diseases before implantation. Registrar jobs at St Georges and St Peters Chertsey where I found that the micromanipulation skills on embryos were transferable to laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery. Moved to Bimingham as registrar and lecturer (lots of teaching of minimal access surgery) As consultant in Cardiff established the first BSGE endometriosis centre in Wales. Chaired a review of endometriosis care in Wales for Welsh Government 2018 Retired form the NHS 2021
