Dr Matthew Ginks

Dr Matt Ginks is a Consultant Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist at the John Radcliffe Hospital (part of Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust). He is involved in the investigation and treatment of patients with all forms of heart rhythm (arrhythmia) problems including catheter ablation and device therapy. His research and clinical interests are centred around catheter ablation of complex cardiac arrhythmias, predominantly atrial fibrillation. He is an active member of Heart Rhythm UK. He has published over 50 peer reviewed papers. He is one of the editors of the Oxford Handbook of Cardiac Electrophysiology and Catheter Ablation, and the Cardiac Arrhythmia section of the Oxford Textbook of Medicine.
