GMC reg: 3297384Trained in London at Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School. Cardiology training in London at Harefield Hospital- covering a broad training in general cardiology, and specialising in coronary intervention and pacemakers and implantable devices. Also spent a year working in the world famous transplant service. Extensive experience in managing patients with coronary artery disease, valvular disease, heart failure, and managing patients who require or already have a pacemaker or defibrillator. He has considerable experience in coronary angioplasty and stenting (PCI), including having played a significant role in developing the primary angioplasty service at Harefield from its inception in 2004. He has extensive expertise in implanting pacemakers and ICDs, with a particular interest in Cardiac Resynchronisation Therapy or Biventricular Pacing (CRT). He has wide experience in pacemaker and ICD extraction, including the use of laser lead extraction, and was a Specialist Advisor to NICE in this area. He has extensive experience in managing patients with heart conditions such as: coronary artery disease mitral valve disease heart failure Has been actively involved in a broad range of research and has published widely in both coronary artery disease and pacemakers and defibrillators.
