Dr Devinder Bansi

Dr Devinder Bansi has been a consultant gastroenterologist and senior interventional endoscopist at Imperial College London for 24 years. He has extensive experience in diagnostic & advanced therapeutic endoscopy including ERCP and is one of the leading experts in bariatric/metabolic endoscopy in the UK, with expertise in the management of complications after bariatric surgery, the use of endoscopic suturing methods to achieve weight loss (as well as other indications) and intragastric balloon techniques. He has established the largest series of patients undergoing stoma revision (TORE) for weight regain post gastric bypass surgery in the UK and is one of the first endoscopists in the UK to start an ESG service at Imperial College and the prestigious private Cromwell Hospital in London, as well as an EDGE (EUS directed trans gastric ERCP) service. He is an International consultant proctor for Apollo/Boston Endosurgery, an Honorary Senior Lecturer at Imperial College, London, Medical Director for Weight Loss Doctors UK and founding partner at OneWelbeck Health Partners in London, now the largest private endoscopy unit in the UK.
