GMC reg: 6166067Dr Clare Rees (nee Miller) is a consultant haematologist at Frimley Park Hospital. She has a first-class BSc (Hons) in Medical Sciences: Neuroscience (University of Edinburgh, 2005) and an MBChB with honours (University of Edinburgh, 2008). She is an MRCP (UK) holder and a fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists (FRCPath). Dr Rees is a general haematologist and offers comprehensive care to individuals with various haematological conditions, including cancers. Her subspecialist interests include thrombosis and immune disorders such as ITP and haemolytic anaemia . A lot of her time is spent with patients who have had blood clots including DVTs/PEs to understand why these might have developed and to discuss anticoagulation options. She is the clinical lead for thrombosis and anticoagulation at Frimley Park Hospital. Her haematology training includes an NIHR Academic Clinical Fellowship at Imperial College London and she was a Senior Registrar in Haematology at North West London Deanery. She is a principal investigator for research trials at Frimley Health. An active educator , Dr Rees supervises junior staff and regularly teaches medical students and junior doctors. Her qualifications and experience make her a respected professional in haematology.
