Mr Amit Sinha

Mr Amit Sinha has been a Consultant Orthopaedic surgeon in North Wales at Glan Clwyd Hospital, Rhyl (Betsi Cadawaldr University Health Board). He has now retired from the NHS and at present only involved in Medico-legal practice. He gained his medical qualification MBBS from Ranchi Universityin 1980 and completed his post-graduation Masters degree in Orthopaedics from Prince of Wales Medical School, Patna in 1983. He came to the UK in the year 1985 and passed his general surgical FRCS fellowship in 1988 and worked as a research registrar at Walton Hospital in Liverpool in 1990, successfully achieving a Masters degree in Orthopaedics from the University of Liverpool. He then went on to complete his higher surgical training in Manchester and gained valuable experience as a trauma fellow at the University of Tubeigen in Germany.He has also gained his FRCS (Tr &Orth) in 1999 and FRCS (Eng) in 2011. His final years were spent at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary at Lancaster before joining as a Consultant in North Wales. Apart from his clinical services he has been involved in education, research, training as well as the management of Orthopaedic services in Wales.
