Mr A T Reece

I am from Glasgow and attended The High School of Glasgow and Dundee University Medical School graduating in 1983. My early postgrad training was in Glasgow with JHO and SHO jobs in Glasgow Royal Infirmary followed by three years on the West of Scotland Surgical Rotation, based at GRI. I spent the next four years in Leicester as an Orthopaedic Registrar and Research Fellow and then spent four years as a Senior Registrar on the Newcastle and Sunderland Rotation during which time I did fellowships in Switzerland and Sweden. I commenced my Consultant job in Glasgow at the Western Infirmary in 1996 and my private practice at the Glasgow Nuffield Hospital that same year. I was also appointed an Honorary Senior Lecturer at he Univ of Glasgow. My general Orthopaedic practice changed in 1999 to elective spinal surgery only plus trauma. My sub-speciality interest was spinal tumours and I was a member of the national Scottish Sarcoma team for 25 years.
