The Care Quality Commission (CQC) has today published a report relating to Warrington and Halton NHS Foundation Trust.

At Warrington Hospital, medical care, critical care, outpatients and diagnostic services and maternity and gynaecology services were rated Requires Improvement. Surgery, urgent care, end of life services and services for children and young people were rated as Good.

At Halton General Hospital, outpatients and diagnostic services were rated Requires Improvement and medical care, urgent care services and surgery were rated Good. The overall rating for Halton Hospital has slipped from Good to Requires Improvement.

Overall the trust has been rated Requires Improvement – although the trust was rated Good for caring.

The Trust offers private healthcare services at Warrington Hospital. However, the hospital has not yet submitted sufficiently detailed or complete data for PHIN to publish performance measures.
