Hugh joined the PHIN Board in February 2022 having been nominated by the Private Medical Insurers collectively.
Hugh is a Senior Adviser at Sicsic Advisory, a boutique consultancy specializing in the regulatory aspects of general insurance. He is also a member of the SME Advisory Panel of the Financial Ombudsman Service. He retired in 2020 from a longstanding role as Director of Regulation at the Association of British Insurers. Before joining the ABI, he spent twenty years working in a variety of roles at the Department of Trade and Industry.
